Sing, Say, Dance, and Play with the Elemental Ukulele The ukulele is fast becoming a sought-after instrument for the general music classroom and finding a place for it does not have to mean starting brand new. Let’s explore ways of applying our knowledge of sequencing to practical applications for the ukulele in your classroom, encouraging student success. Join us as we take what we know and adapt to make the ukulele another way for our students to enjoy and create music. Please bring a ukulele (if you have one) and a recorder to the workshop. |

We learned how to tune, helpful hints about storage and procedure, and even got some tips about using sticky dots to help students with finger placement. Cathy and Denise also shared uke projects that they use with their 6th grade students. Ukulele's were available to use during the workshop thanks to Amy Fenton and Murphy Elementary School.
